Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge ~ Week 4

Let the fun begin…This is going to be my week, I just know it! Here come the big changes. Get ready and hold on to your seats…Who’s ready to be amazed…I sure am. If I have to look at this empty bathroom one more day, I’m not going to make it. So let’s talk week 4 of the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge!!!

Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge ~ Week 1

Hey guys! So a new adventure begins this week and it’s going to be my biggest project to date! I was recently invited to participate in the 2019 Fall Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge. The challenge is to renovate a space over the next six weeks. That’s right I said six weeks! Each week will be judged by a panel of Jeffrey Court judges. You will even get the chance to be involved and get to help vote for your favorite designer 😉 The winner of the contest will win a $5,000 dream vacation. This will sound super cheesy, but I feel like I already won…I get to transform a space using amazing tile by Jeffrey Court. I am all in!!!

All Time Top 10 Tools for the Beginner DIY-er

So, I used to be seriously obsessed with clothes, purses and shoes…these days it’s ALL about the tools! I only recently became interested in tools and it seems like you can never have enough. Purchasing our first home has really motivated and inspired me to DIY anything and everything I can think of in our home.

Who wants their dream home, without having to pay an obscene price for it?? Umm…ME!! Don’t get me wrong, any project you do in your home is normally going to cost you something, obviously you still have to pay for all of your supplies and tools are an investment, but doing it yourself will definitely save you a TON of money. After so many projects, I have now come to realize that each and every project seems to need a new tool, but there are some really basic tools that I normally use for every single project. So, I thought I would share my favorite must have tools for DIY-ers.

DIY Bicycle Wreath

How beautiful is this DIY Bicycle Wreath!!! This wheel was stashed in my hoarders garage that I have been cleaning out and organizing for the last week, it’s been pretty daunting for the most part but, every once in a while I would find a treasure in my chaotic clutter. Like, this amazing vintage bicycle wheel.

I know what your thinking, a bicycle wheel is that really a treasure? Well, I would absolutely say YES! I found this bicycle wheel at a random vintage shop that caught my eye while driving. Can we say U-Turn…I knew as soon as I saw it what I wanted to do with it. Of course I have big plans for where this guy is going to end up, which is going to turn into a whole other giant project. So, for now I am going to share with you my simple and easy DIY Bicycle Wreath tutorial.

DIY Hanging Hoop Planters

So, I just finished up with the ORC and my Big Reveal, which you can see here if you missed it! There were so many DIY’s in the room that I didn’t get a chance to talk about (I needed to save a few surprises for the final look.) One of my favorite things that I created right at the end, that I absolutely loved was my DIY Hanging Hoop Planter. I made two, both in different sizes. One with a real plant inside, we’ll see how that works out for me and one with a faux succulent…which are always a favorite. Believe it or not I can actually even kill a succulent…I know…I am very talented at so many things! 😉 Both planters took less than 1 hour. Maybe even shorter, but I’ll say an hour including all the time it took me to prepare all of my supplies. So if you would love your own planter here is how. Super easy.

Super, SUPER excited that today is the day I finally get to share with you the BIG reveal for my Modern DIYers Workspace. I  am not going to lie the last 6 weeks has not been easy and I literally worked up until the last day finishing up this space. 6 week sounds so long but when reality hits and the projects start the time just flies right by. So…here it is…A fresh look on a DIYers Workspace. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It’s functional, chic, modern, and colorful…all the good stuff packed into one space and guess what…It’s all mine.
