Week 1 ~ Jeffrey Court All-Star Challenge

Okay friends…who’s ready to start a new project! Not just any project, who thinks it’s time to tackle another big renovation? Recently, I was invited to participate in the first ever Jeffrey Court All-Star Renovation Challenge. I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be asked to compete in this fun challenge. As an added bonus, Frog Tape and Behr Paint are also sponsoring this Challenge, so beyond excited to work with all these amazing companies.

Before we get to my new project, I thought we should revisit for just a second my last Challenge with Jeffrey Court. Do you remember? I completely remodeled my Master Bathroom for the renovation challenge and it was quite the undertaking. I pushed my body physically and mentally to get this project done in the 6-week completion time. In the end though and still till this day, every time I walk into this bathroom I think – Damn…I did this…I made this space! The transformation is really breath-taking and I am so proud of myself every time I see it. This was my first big renovation, it was quite the learning curve the entire way through. I’m hoping to take everything I learned from the first Renovation Challenge into this All-Star Challenge. You can see the whole final reveal for the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge here.

Jeffrey Court Challenge Final Reveal Master Bathroom

Ummm… so good! Right??? Okay…let’s talk new project! Would you believe me if I told you I have another amazing BEFORE bathroom to remodel? You thought the blue sink and shower was bad. Oh, let’s see which one you think is worse. For this renovation challenge, I will be remodeling my kid’s bathroom. This is the third and final bathroom in my house that needs renovated. So excited to get to it. When we moved in, I remember walking through all the bathrooms each one was worse than the next. Ugh…I seriously was crying! 😉 I honestly never thought there was any way I would ever get one bathroom, let alone all of them re-done. EKKKKKK…let’s do this!!

Here is our starting point…Prepare yourself!!! Lol…That’s right friends, that would be a green tub. I know once again you are super jealous. Please try to hold back your jealously!

Let’s get another angle…don’t want you to really miss the magnitude of this situation!

Just like my Master-Bathroom, I haven’t laid a finger on this space yet for complete fear of starting it and ending up just ripping every single thing out of here. Well, guess what it’s officially time to start ripping everything out of this space. One more pic before we start talking design plans. Let it really soak it all in!!!

Here is my design board for the kid’s bathroom. I have selected two different tiles by Jeffrey Court. Laurel Brass and Dreamcicle Mosaic Tile and I’m kinda obsessed with both of them. I am going a little off my usual trend of black and white for this space and am going to lighten it up with white, gold and blush…So excited about all these combinations.

I don’t want to give too much away about this new renovation space, so I’m just going to leave you with a mood board this week. Just know big and exciting thing are coming! I, of course have a few unexpected tricks up my sleeve that I can’t wait to show you. Make sure to follow along for the next 6 weeks to see all the progress and updates. Don’t forget to follow along with Jeffrey Court and the other 7 designers as we all push ourselves to the limits creating incredible spaces. Also, get excited because you get the chance to cast your vote for your favorite designer or project starting next week on June 17th! So get geared up for that! 😉

Big thanks to Jeffrey Court, Frog Tape and Behr Paint for sponsoring this Challenge and project.  So excited to get to work and build something incredible and unique!
