Okay…so who’s ready to do a super easy DIY? I’ve been challenged by my friends at Sugru to reimagine a corner of my home this winter. Now, what if I told you we won’t be using a singe tool? Do I have your attention now?

Have you heard of Sugru? Well, if your answer is no, let me help you change that!! This super cool product is the world’s first multipurpose moldable glue. That’s right, a glue that you can mould and it remains flexible when set. It can stick to so many materials like glass, ceramic, wood, metal and most plastics. Crazy right! The best part is it can be used for so many different purposes, like fixing, bonding or creating things.

So, let’s get creating…Remember this beautiful bathroom I just completely remodeled? If you missed it, I laid every single piece of that tile ALL by myself. So, when I say I don’t want to drill a single hole into it, I am very serious about it..lol! On the other hand my girls really could use some extra storage in this space. They also need a place to store their tooth brushes. We have had several holders now and everytime they fall off the shelf shattering.

For this project, we are going to attach a tooth brush holder to the tile wall with no screws and absolutely no drilling. I am also going to add glass jars for storage underneath their shelf. This way all of this stuff is out of the way and has a place. To make both of these projects happen we are going to use Sugru and it’s literally going to take us minutes to get everything in place.

Step 1:

Mound the Sugru. I moulded mine into tiny balls, but you can manipulate it into practically any shape you need. You have 30 minutes to fix, bond and create. I added a ball of Sugru to the top of each of my storage jars. I also added it to the back and sides of my tooth brush holder.

Step 2:

I secured the metal lid to the wood shelf. I held it into place for a few seconds and it instantly stuck together. Also, I added the wood tooth brush holder to the tile, securing it into place. I made sure it was completely level before I pushed it into place.

Step 3:

Sugru needs 12-24 hours to turn into a strong and durable rubber that stays stuck. So, I left the bottom of the glass jars off until after 24 hours.

So…that’s literally it!
